Improving My Life

One of the first things we've lost since the recession started is our sense of freedom. Not many people will choose to leave their current job (no matter how soul crashing it may be), and hope for the best.

If and when the economic situation improves, and once we dig ourselves out of our collective hole (or our collective empty pockets), we shouldn't settle. That classified advertising job can pass us by. We don't need to be insurance salesmen (working only on commission, nonetheless). We can think about what we've always wanted to do, and go for it.

For a long time we've been a paycheck away from the poor house. Things will change sooner or later. And when they do, we need to remember we have the freedom to create our destinies.
